Online Auctions Marketing Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Online Auctions Marketing Manager to lead the promotion and growth of our digital auction platform in Zimbabwe and beyond.

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative marketer with strong analytical skills to drive bidder engagement, increase seller participation, and maximise auction performance across multiple digital channels. You’ll play a key role in shaping our brand presence and ensuring every auction reaches the right audience at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

As the Online Auctions Marketing Manager, you will:

• Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to promote online auctions

• Develop and manage auction calendars, promotional schedules, and launch strategies

• Drive traffic and conversions through social media, email marketing, and paid advertising

• Analyse auction performance data to optimise bidding activity and conversion rates

• Collaborate with auctioneers, vendors, and internal teams to align marketing efforts

• Manage website listings, featured lots, and promotional banners

• Build brand awareness and trust within the online auction community

• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy

Candidate Requirements

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Proven experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or online platforms

• Strong understanding of online advertising, social media, and email campaigns

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and performance metrics

• Creative thinking combined with a commercial mindset

• Strong communication and project management skills

• Experience with online marketplaces or auctions – advantageous but not essential

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
